Hi everyone! How are you? Hope you are having an awesome week. I’ve decided to post earlier this week because I’m going to be out all weekend and the first half of the week, hurray for Spring break! The anime I’m going to present you to this week is called kagewani, and it’s a horror anime. The anime, not counting with the OVA’s, specials, etc, has 13 episodes with around 7 or 8 minutes each episode.

Plot: Monsters are attacking the world. They destroy, they kill and that’s all they care about. Sosuke Banba is an investigator that pursues the Kagewani to study it and try to destroy this blood thirsty creatures.

I don’t regret watching this anime, I just don’t think it was something that made me worth my while. The animation is typical Japanese classic horror, which is good, however, the story has to be very good so they can afford to use this kind of animation, which I don’t think it was. There are loose episodes that complete one story but it isn’t that good. They should have bet in a better animation to distract us from the poor story or use a better story. The soundtrack was okay, the character development is almost nonexistent because the characters maintain their own way of being with no changes, from beginning to end. With this I give this anime the worse punctuation I have ever giver, which will be 2/5.

Hi! I hope ya’ll had an awesome Monday! I’m sorry I didn’t posted yesterday, in a Sunday as I usually do, but I got distracted studying. This time I’m going to talk about an anime movie, I saw it this Friday night and loved it! It is recent and it has 119 minutes.  Again my congratulations to the voice actors that were perfect.

Name: The boy and the beast (bakemono no ko)

Original run: July 11 of 2016

Studio: Studio Chizu

Gender: action, fight, martial arts, fantasy, comedy, drama.

Plot: In the Beast Kingdom the lord has decided to retire himself so he may reincarnate, however he need to leave a successor. The elected has to be strong, fight well and be a good hearted person. The two options are Iozen who has all these qualitys and a lot of students that want to learn from him, and he also has two children so he knows how to raise children and teach them well, the second option is the barbaric Kumatetsu who fights well but relies too much on brute force, due to his explosive personality not many people want to be trained by him. Without someone to teach he cannot become the new Lord. Ren is a little 9 year old boy who lost his mother and feels full of hate for everything, when he decided to run away from home and somehow end up in the Beast Kingdom and being trained by the loud, explosive yet kind hearted Kumatetsu everything changes. Both Kumatetsu and Ren grow with each other, together and with each other’s help.

So as you noticed I didn’t mention op or ending theme because its is a movie so I summed it up in soundtrack, which I liked but didn’t think anything too special of it. The animation is really great, congratulations to the animators! The story is good, but will not get a 5/5 because it has a lot of stopped moments. The characters are simply amazing and their development is genius. With this I attribute this movie with a 4 out of five. ^^

Kill la Kill

Kill la kill

Hey my sweet anime fans! I hope you’re week was great! Mine was a bit tiring because I started school again, and I know the semester will be rough, gotta work hard! Well the anime I’m going to tell you about this week is named Kill la Kill. It’s one of the animes that I loved the most. It was a bit annoying watching it when it was ongoing because I like to binge watch anime, but oh well. You won´t have that problem cause the anime is already complete. Kill la Kill has 24 episodes, not counting with the specials, with around 20 minutes per episode (standard time for anime episode). A remark that I’ll mention this time is the voice actors, I think all the voice actors were so great.

Studio: Trigger

Gender: action, comedy, science fiction, drama, fight, magic, ecchi

Plot: Matoi Ryuko is looking for vengeance. Ryuko had a nice life with her father until he was murdered by someone with a giant scissors as a weapon. Ryuko’s only clue is if she finds the weapon (the other half of the scissor that she has) she will find the murderer. She is a violent, loud demanding girl that is very good at fighting. Her opponent and major suspect? Kiryuin Satsuki, the ruler of the Honnouji Academy where all students wear Goku uniforms which gives them the ability to increase their power. Against these clothes that feel too dominant and fearsome, the nudist beach secret group secretly fight against the use of the school.  Ryuko has one of these suits but it’s a much rarer one, a kamui that she names senketsu that’s is entirely made out of life fibers. Will Satsuki succeed on having her strong utopian army? Will Ryuko avenge her father?

So I really like this anime, it’s animation is a bit childish as in the art work is simple and cartoonish like instead of the advanced animation we are used to, however it has a charm of its own that makes it perfect. The story is simply amazing and very entertaining. The character development is brilliant and very surprising, the soundtrack is good but very girly and I don’t think it fits sometimes to the characters. It wins a 4/5 because it’s really good.

Death Note

DEATH NOTE

Hello! I hope you are well and had a great week, and are ready for one more post! Nothing better to end the week with than a good anime. The one I’m suggesting today is called Death Note. Mostly everyone that watches anime has seen this one, it is considered pretty much a classic. Honestly it is one of my favorite animes, it’s just so rich in story, drama and the art work is really good. So I’ll start the official analysis. It has 37 episodes, with around 20 minutes each, so its standard time for an anime episode.

Original run: October 3, 2006 – June 26, 2007

Studio: Madhouse

Gender: Occult, detective, mystery, psychological, horror, fiction and thriller.

Plot: Yagami Light is a normal highschool student that has a pretty boring life routine. He goes to school, then cram school, goes home, and watches the news and studies. However Light has a strong sense of how the world has become rotten. The high level of criminality in the world is rising madly, and he just can’t help think of eradicating all of that evilness he sees. But he cannot do a thing, after all he is only a student.

So when he finds a black note book that says death note on the cover, and it comes along with instructions saying that the name of the person written in the death note will die. So Light faces a choice: do either leave the note or ignores it because killing is wrong or take the notebook, kill the criminals and become the new God of his own evil free Utopia.

Opening: 4/5 for the first one, and 4/5 for the second one.

It is one of the best anime I have ever seen in my life. The animation is great, despite the time when it was made, I mean seriously they have mad animation and transitions in this anime that are absolutely amazing. The story Is brilliant, it just gets you hooked from episode 1 to 37. The character development is absolutely fantastic, Yagami Light, L, N, Matsuda, Misa Misa, Mello, etc. They are all amazing. The soundtrack is really good and it has brilliant openings.

Hacka Doll The Animation

Hi people ^^ .  I will post this in advance because I will be busy on Sunday, it’s valentine’s day, so I’ll post is today. Hope ya’ll don’t mind. :3

So it’s time for one more post, I hope that the ones who read this blog are enjoying my work as much as I enjoy it. This week’s anime is called Hacka Doll The animation. Let me explain the name, please. Hacka Doll is a Japanese news app, developed by DeNA’S, that delivers new information to the user about anime, manga and general otaku knowledge, and from online shopping from Tatsuya. The news app is available on Apple's App Store for iOS devices and on Google Play for Android devices. This app inspired the anime that I’m going to talk about. The episodes are only as long as 7 minutes each, so it isn’t the average time of anime episode (20 minutes).

Name: Hacka Doll The Animation

Studio: Triger and the app creators (inspiration).

Gender: fiction, comedy, science fiction, ecchi

Plot:  Hacka Dolls are personal entertainment artificial intelligence (AI). They exist to help humans advance, which is to progress on their work, hobbies, personal development, etc. Unfortunately for models #1, #2 and #3 who are older models and complete klutz, they are not very good at helping people advance. They try their best but that doesn’t seem to be enough because they are clumsy and very simple minded, so #0 tells them that if they don’t advance people, they will be destroyed. So the adventure of these three Hacka Dolls start, by helping one human or company at a time (at their own way) they try to advance and get their status up.

Well I’m going to be honest, it is a nice anime, but it isn’t something that I would go out of my way to watch again. It’s my personal opinion, this means that I didn’t think the characters were relatable or kind of characters that I could feel attached to. The opening is fun and cheerful but as the anime it’s just random things. It doesn’t really have much of a story line, it’s just their daily adventures instead of a built plot, which is good for those people who like just watching different things happen in various episodes. It’s an animation similar to the one on the anime Kill la Kill, which keeps it simple but at the same time is very rich.

So as I said on my previews post, don’t be afraid to comment or leave a suggestion of an anime for a post. Kiss <3

Hi people! So I’m really excited for this post, this is one of the best animes I’ve ever seen in my entire life. I like horror anime, and this one is scary, fun, really great! This week’s anime is called Another.

Name: Another

Original run: January 10th 2012 – march 27th 2012

Studio: P. A. Works

Gender: horror, suspense, thriller, mystery.

Plot: Yomyama North Middle School is cursed. There is one class that suffers every year.  Class 3- 3 suffers because of the mistakes made in the past by previews people that also attended that school and they doomed themselves and future students and their families and friends. The story goes back to 1972 when a beloved boy, that was popular, nice and adored by his classmates, passed away. His death brought grief to everyone who loved him, so to try to overcome that grief, they decided to act as if the boy was still there. But when he appeared on a class picture after being dead, the students got scared. It was too late, every year, in class 3-3 people and their families and friends die, because death is trying to find that one person who escaped after he claimed him. Now the doubt rests in one question: who is the extra? Who is it that every year is dead without realizing?

It gets 4/5 because although it is an amazing story, it loses some points because of the ending song, the fact that it has some stopped scenes and it takes a bit to start the plot. The animation is good and the soundtrack is brilliant except for, as I said, the ending song. Well look forward for my next post everyone! I know I am!

Gender: action, fantasy, comedy, adventure.

Plot: Hanabusa Yotaro just wants to be a normal guy, however, not only he is a member of the surviving 21st century Knights, called the "Knights of the world." Not only that, but he is also suffering from a condition called “knight syndrome”, which means he can't avoid protecting people (mostly ladies) from dangerous situations.

He tries to be a normal high school boy by leaving the Island where he was trained to be a knight and go into the world by himself. But Yotaro’s plan fails when he sees a young girl in danger, little Makio, and he disguises himself to save her. He becomes the masque “knight lancer”, keeping that to protect his real identity to keep doing heroic actions and still maintaining his normal life.

However, his knight syndrome attacks again when he finds out that little Makio lives all alone in a huge house. He takes pity on the young girl and decides to live with her, barely does she know that the pathetic Yotaro is actually the hero from her songs, “knight lancer”.

Hi guys! This week’s anime that I’ve chosen is called “Shimoneta: a boring world where the concept of dirty jokes doesn’t exist”, uff, long name. I must say I laughed my butt off with this anime, it’s ecchi but it’s really funny.

Gender of anime: dystopia, comedy, ecchi.

Plot: Japan has become a clean country. It is not allowed to curse, read dirty magazines, ecchi manga, pornography or dirty jokes. It’s pretty much a very boring world. Even the highschool students have no desires or even know exactly what lust is. Many of the young people confuse love with lust because they know not what lust is. Including they don’t know how babies are made. Everyone wears a device that obligates them to keep everything clean. Off course not everyone are okay with that system. The one’s who know the concept of dirty jokes are against it, they are called the pervert terrorists.

Tanukichi Okuma enters the top elite clean school because he wants to follow his childhood crush, which is the purest girl in school and also the student council president, Nishikinomyia Anna. However Okuma knows all too well of dirty stuff, his father was the chief of a pervert terrorist group and his previous school had a lot of guys who…well, are guys in puberty, do y’all need a better description?

He is also recruited (against his will) by the pervert terrorist chief of the group S.O.X. , blue Tundra, who is actually also a part of the student council (vice-president), Ayame Kajou. She is the daughter of a man who fought the public morality, and she has the goal of fighting for the same things her father did. So disguised as blue tundra/ snow tundra, she does all kind of attempts to make the school population a bit more pervert, one pervy act at a time (dirty magazines, bugs mating, etc). Meanwhile, poor Okuma as to trick Anna because he’s now part of S.O.X. and he pretends he know nothing.
